Gazpacho is a delicious soup from Spanish cuisine that is served cold instead of hot. Gnocchi is usually made of tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, and garlic. To make white Gazpacho we need garlic, almonds, olive oil, bread, and grapes as the key ingredients.

Grilled Cheese is one of the most popular snacks starting from the letter G. It is a classic snack made by frying or grilling a chess sandwich.

4. Grits

Originating in the US, Grits is a porridge which is made out of boiled cornmeal. Grits are often served with butter. There has been some discussion on if it is a sweet or savory dish as most people consume it with sugar. But others like to have it with cheese, sausage, bacon, or gravy.

5. Giblets

We can use the word Giblets to define the edible offal of an animal. Giblets typically include the liver, heart, and gizzards, among other organs.

The chicken of General Tso is a dish that is Chinese-American and is sweet and spicy deep fried. The seasoning mostly features soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, chili, garlic, sugar, and cornstarch. Gyros are a Greek-based dish that is derived from kebab meat offered in a pitta alongside tomato onion and tzatziki sauce. The meat is shaved in a lot of slices while being cooked.

10. Gumbo

Originating in Louisiana, Gumbo is a heavily seasoned stew, thickened with okra or a roux, and filled with either meat or seafood. Gumbo has two categories such as Creole gumbo and Cajun gumbo.

11. Granola

Granola is a kind of breakfast cereal created from rolled oats, nuts, and syrup which is toasted and also filled with puffed rice and dried fruits. It can be used as a topping for yogurt and can also be consumed with milk. As a crumble topper, it is a perfect food item for everyone.

Gammon is a kind of pork leg which is cured, salted, and brined. It is popular during Christmas in UK and Ireland.

17. Gorgonzola

It is a blue-veined cheese that originated in Italy. Gorgonzola has a crumbly, soft texture and a nutty smell and the reason is that the cheese is made from pasteurized cows’ milk. Gorgonzola is the world’s oldest blue cheese.
