We went to Swiss Chalet on Terry Fox drive in Ottawa today October 9/23 for our anniversary. We are seniors so they freed us 10% off.
They could not offer the Thanksgiving meal because they were out of stuffing and pumpkin pie…..what a letdown.
Then the waitress overcharged us for our garden salad that was supposed to be $5.99… but we were charged $6.99. And then the 2 quarter chicken dinners were supposed to be $13.49 as stated on the online Swiss Chalet menu and the waitress charged us $16.99 X 2. …….so what should of cost us $32.97 minus the 10% seniors discount cost us almost $50 with the tip and tax…..very disappointed…..we didn’t get the Thanksgiving meal, so why were we charged for it. I was so disgusted we just paid and left. Not going back.
They charge more for the white meat which doesn’t make sense and you don’t even get coleslaw with your meal. I have Swiss Chalet coupons right off of the Swiss Chalet ribs box and there is such a hassle to get them to accept them I am not going to bother. They want me to submit a picture but I don’t have a smart phone. You would think as seniors we would get treated better. We had the Thanksgiving dinner the last time we were there. Cold dressing and a dab of cranberry sauce. The fries seem to be reheated. Also they never mentioned a seniors discount.
