John and Carol Kuntz were the ones who established Andy’s in the 80s. Their frozen custard was tried by a couple in Wisconsin.
They eventually approached Leon and Doris Schneider, who were the owners of a Milwaukee frozen custard shop in the 40s and Leon knew everything that had to be done to open their outlet.
